H.I Dr. Morteza Rezazadeh

At the heart of our Thaqalayn Course, guiding our mission and values, is our esteemed President and visionary planner. A passionate advocate for educational excellence and a dedicated leader in our community, Hujjatul Islam Dr. Morteza Rezazadeh is the driving force behind the creation of this transformative program.

H.I Dr. Rasoul Naghavi

Director of Mufid Academic Seminary: Dr. Sheikh Rasoul Naghavi is the founding director of Mufid Academic Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University, Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, and a second Ph.D. equivalent from the Islamic Seminary of Qom-Iran where he studied and taught Islamic law, legal theory, and logic for 16 years. Rasoul’s academic interests also includes spirituality, mysticism, and peace-building.

H.I Dr. Mahdi Rastifar

Professor at International Institute for Islamic Studies. As an expert in the field of Mahdism, he is graduated from the Hawza seminary school of Qom.

H.I Ali Rajani

He graduated from the Hawza seminary school in Qom and has extensive experience teaching Islamic theology and knowledge. He also serves as the director of the Bab al-Reza educational and cultural program.

Sabereh Ahmadi

Ms. Sabereh Ahmadi holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies and two Master's degrees; one in Islamic Studies from Jame'at al-Zahra and another with a focus on Kalam (Islamic Theology) from Hoda Colledge. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Private Law at the Islamic Sciences University of Razavi.

Dr. Mahmoud Nazari

With a Ph.D. in Islamic Philosophy and Theology from Qazvin International University, he is also graduated from the Hawza seminary school of Qom. Dr. Nazari has taught in different universities and academic institutions, in the field of Islamic Philosophy and Theology. He is the head of Education Department at Hikmat International Institute.

Dr. H.I. Hosein Latifi

Hossein Latifi started Hawza from 2001. After his second degree and simultaneously with Hawza, he earned MPhil (2014) and PhD in Western philosophy (2018) from the University of Tehran. He attended classes of advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles (Kharej) for 8 years. In university and Hawza, he has taught under and postgraduate courses on Islamic Theology, Philosophy, Jurisprudence, History and Contemporary Thought, in Farsi, Arabic and English. He served as the visiting lecturer of Islamic Studies in the University of Zimbabwe and Arrupe Jesuit University from 2018 to 2022. Currently he chairs the department of Kalam and Philosophy in Shahidain Islamic School.

H.I. Ali Mahdavi

Ali Mahdavi initiated his studies at Hawza in 2001. He attended advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles (Kharej) classes for 5 years, culminating in the attainment of a specific seminary degree at level 4 in 2023. Currently, he is in the process of writing his thesis for a Ph.D. at Qom University. Throughout his career, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Islamic Theology, Arabic Literature, and Jurisprudence, delivering lectures in Farsi, Arabic, and English. He has also served as a visiting lecturer at several Iranian universities. Presently, he is teaching Arabic Literature and Islamic Jurisprudence at SIOS.

Dr. Razieh Shameli

Ms. Razieh Shameli, holding a PhD. in Islamic Studies from Jami' al-Zahra, Qom has a keen interest in investigating women's rights in Islam as a PhD. candidate. Her expertise has been showcased through contributions to programs such as the "Muslim Lady" on Pars radio and as a figure on the TV show "Lifestyle". Moreover, she's dedicated herself to teaching courses on women in Islam, sharing her knowledge with a diverse international audience.

Hasan Latifi

In 2000, he entered the Hawza. Concurrent with Hawza studies and after completing his second degree, he earned an MA in philosophy (2018) from the University of Tehran. Subsequently, he obtained another MA in religious studies from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. He attended classes on advanced Islamic Jurisprudence, addressing modern issues like IVF, music, gender change, and the governmental theory of Islam. Throughout his academic journey at both the university and Hawza, he taught postgraduate courses on New Kalami Issues, Jurisprudence, its principles, and Rijal, delivering lectures in Farsi and English. He co-authored books on Islamic philosophy and Shi'a history. Additionally, he has translated a book compiling Ayatollah Sistani's statements and over 200,000 words of religious articles.

H.I. Ali Akbar Mohammadi

He is graduated from the Hawza seminary school of Qom and expert in Quran recitation and Tajwid.
